Review of "GULICX 925 Sterling Silver Ring Celtic Everlasting Love Knot Filigree Wedding Finger"

out of 5

I bought this as a cheap and appropriate wedding ring to replace mine as I continued to lose weight in my fingers.

It's OK to look at but it's not as bright as it was when I bought it back in February, but then I've been washing my hands and doing the washing up and cooking and all sorts of other things with it on so I haven't been treating that well. It's still a good ring, but it looks obviously cheap now. If you're looking for a cheap temporary measure then this is perfect for that, just don't treat it badly (like I've done for the last 9 weeks) otherwise you'll soon regret it.

Review of "Pasta Canister | Spaghetti Container | Kitchen Storage Jar | Pasta Tub Dispenser | Tall Container | Includes Lid | M&W (Grey)"

out of 5

We needed something quick and cheap to keep our spaghetti in so that it was out of the way on the counter and less likely to be knocked off, the package bursting open and the spaghetti ending up all over the floor.

We've got other kitchen things that are very similar to this and it was cheap and on Prime so we'd get it the day before our second packet of spaghetti was due to turn up with our groceries.

Would it fit both packets of spaghetti in it at the same time or would I need to invest in a second one though?

It arrived and the original spaghetti pack fitted in it easily... would it fit in the second packet too?

Yep, it would, with just enough room to get a couple of fingers in to grab the spaghetti to put into the water.

It's an obviously cheap container and the lid on it is pretty lose, but for a way to keep a couple of packets of spaghetti safe from being knocked onto the floor, it's well worth the money for us.

Review of "Famidoc EMS Waist Trimmer Abs Belt"

out of 5

I've got a bit of a flabby belly on me after losing a considerable amount of weight so researched toning belts and decided on this one.

All good so far.

I opened the box up, put the batteries in and started reading the instructions. You can't use it if you've got a pacemaker, defibrilator or IUD. It should also not be used close to your heart. I'm only a petite 152cm so the top of the belt ended up way too close to my heart (as in the bit of my ribcage where the two sides join) and I didn't want to risk putting my health and especially life in danger by using it.

I've got one of the implants and my lack of height means that I can't use it. I am disabled so had no way of sending it back for a refund, so had to put it on Freegle.

If the safety instructions and width of the belt at its widest part had been on the description then I could have saved myself the money, frustration and need to give it away.

Unless you are totally implant free and taller than 170cm, then learn from my very costly mistake and don't buy this belt.

SYROKAN Women's High Impact Sports Bra

out of 5

This is a dangerous product to be advertised as a post surgery support workout bra - unless the surgery is for an ingrown toenail of course!

I got out of the shower and tried for a good 10-15 minutes to put it on without any luck. In the end I resorted to a very old bra and asked my hubby to do it up. He spent an extra 15 minutes trying to do it up and putting it in all directions. By the time I'd got dressed (and sweaty and in a bad mood) he'd managed to zip it up, but even he said that it was "impossible to do up if you were already in it!"

It's getting a single star review from me and I'm putting it on Freegle as opposed to sending it back and getting a refund 'cos my disability makes that impossible too.

Basically, save your money and get a bra that doesn't make dangerous claims.

"e-vibra Vibrating Alarm Watch"

out of 5

I just wanted a simple, reliable, USB chargeable watch with a couple of decent alarms and that's exactly what I got with this watch.

It's a touch frustrating having to go through all 15 alarms when I accidentally press the button too many times, but to get 16 days charge out of it and for it to go from 20% to 90% charged in under an hour is just incredible.

The alarms are strong and the watch is soo easy to use when you've got the hang of it and I haven't slept through my alarm or missed a single pill (my two main reasons for getting this watch) the entire time it's been on my wrist.

I haven't tested the waterproofness of it yet and I'm not sure I will.

It's great that you don't need to connect it up to any wires, like I had to with my two previous watches, you just carefully slide it out of the strap, plug it into a USB port and that's it!

The best money I've spent in a long time.

Oral-B Pro Health Electric Toothbrush

out of 5

This electric toothbrush is just what I needed after my previous one bit the dust after 2 years. It's reasonably cheap and it does the job... a touch loud but then so was my previous electric toothbrush, so maybe that's just a necessary downside to getting clean teeth?

Someone in the questions bit asked if there was a timer on it... there sort of is and sort of isn't. It's not a countdown in seconds timer, but after a minute (or possibly two, I wasn't counting) it vibrates in your hand a couple of times which I'm assuming is the timing bit 'cos my previous (Oral B) toothbrush didn't do that and literally all that's changed in my teethbrushing routine is the toothbrush.

I'll definitely be getting this brush again when this new one goes to the dentist in the sky. Unless anything goes wrong any time soon then it's a very firm 5 stars from me.

Heated Vest With 16000mAh Battery Pack for Women and Men

out of 5

I get sooo cold and one of my medical diagnoses means that I'm at risk of hypothermia. I saw this and it seemed perfect so I bought the smallest size that was available (there was only L and XL so I bought L) and couldn't wait to try it.

To say that the instructions are miniscule is the understatement of the Millenium but I managed to decipher that the battery needed to be charged up for 20 minutes from new for it to be fully charged.

Fair enough.

I plugged it into the USB port on my laptop and the tiny light started flashing meaning that it was charging.

So far so good.

2 hours later and it was still charging so I unplugged it and put it back into the included bag, ready to start it charging again this morning

The gillet was waaay too big to fit in easily so I took it slowly and gently and pushed it down and zipped it up about 5cm at a time.

I got to about the final 5cm and that was just too much for the zip.

It pinged off entirely and the gillet spilled entirely out of the bag.

Basically it's an expensive piece of junk that is unusable for me.

The only reason that it's getting any stars at all is that I can't leave a no star review.

Belle Vous 3 Pack 70L Blue Pop up Mesh Laundry Hamper Collapsible Clothes Baskets

What did I ever do before I had these in my life?!

I was getting soo stressed about having to separate each of my clothes into piles before I put them into the washer/drier and kept tripping over the clothes each time I used the kitchen. I got so fed up by the start of December that I knew I had to get things organised.

These were cheap, they were a multipack of 3 (so I could separate my wools, cottons and other things that needed a separate washing programme) and seemed to be just what I was looking for.

They didn't have great reviews, but as a temporary measure they would be OK until I found something more permanent.

They arrived and the package was so thin that I really didn't have a good feeling... surely you can't fit 3 laundry baskets up that much, can you?

I was wrong.

So, so wrong.

I couldn't understand how they could possibly be sturdy enough to hold even a few t-shirts and still be useable.

I pulled the elastic off and it instantly sprang into life.

I got a faceful of the mesh and it almost knocked my glasses off my face it was so forceful!

I put the first one on the floor and tried to collapse it up again but couldn't work out how to because it didn't come with any instructions. That was a plus point for me though - I wanted something that wasn't gonna give up the ghost when it was half full of my laundry!

I took it into the kitchen and separated my cottons into it.

So far so good.

I came back into the living room and reminded myself not to hold it so close to my face when I opened the second one.

Same thing happened, so I took that through to the kitchen and put my wools into it which made it considerably heavier. I moved it to it's new home and it was still in one piece... so far so good with this one too.

The last one was for my towels and other miscellaneous laundry.

Got another faceful of mesh lol

Threw the towels into it and bingo! A clear floor, more organised kitchen and no more tripping over and making holes in clothes!

I still haven't got a clue how to collapse them up, but my toddler nephew knew how to do it!

Basically, these are a must-have for me now and I couldn't be without them.
